Well in 2000 it was 44% Gore 51% Bush in La. I think this will be even closer.

"Election Protection says that New Orleans is one of the top sites of voting irregularities nationwide. There have been over 80 complaints of voting problems in New Orleans so far (10:30 AM). A volunteer from New Orleans Election Protection and the League of Pissed Off Voters reported that there have been machine malfunctions and in some places there are no backup ballots available."

The League of Pissed Off Voters sent out a flyer that states that La should vote against the bond budget which is for bike lanes in NOLA. I dont have to much faith in those guys.

If you dont trust the League of Pissed Off Voters report, how about the Election Protection Committee.

"Bill Quigley, a lawyer working with the Louisiana Election Protection Committee that encompasses several civic groups, said his group has gotten reports of machine malfunctions at dozens of precincts, including one case in which no one could vote until 9 a.m."

The rest of the story is at the Nola link included.
I repeat,

what the f&%k?

That is so La.

The stories I've been hearing so far have to do with technical issues related to voting machine problems. Also, there may be residual agression from the Sept. 18th voting problems.

Damn Wes why are you hatin' on the bloggers?
