I am leaving Annunciation Interactive and have accepted a job as the Interactive Media Manager at the National WWII Museum. This was a very difficult decision for me to make, after all I've spent the last 3 years of my life building an amazing company with some of the brightest and most talented people I've ever worked with. But when a challenge and an opportunity like the one I am pursuing presents itself I've learned to follow my intuition. In this case my intuition says that working for a national cultural institution like the WWII Museum is a dream job that I must pursue.
What This Means for Annunciation Interactive
My brilliant business partner, Mr. Peter Rigney, is buying my interest in the company. I know that the company will thrive under his direction and that he will continue to deliver the high level of customer service, elegant design, and technical excellence that we built the company on. I wish him, all of our wonderful clients, and our amazing team all the best.
Annunciation is the best working experience I've ever been involved with and it is so satisfying to see it move on to the next phase.
Moving Forward
At the National WWII Museum I'll be overseeing the day to day design, development, and maintenance of all interactive experiences including websites, emails, social media, and exhibition interfaces. I'm honored and thrilled to have been chosen to lead the charge as the museum expansion continues in the coming years.
Thanks to all of my colleagues, my family, my friends, and especially my wife. I wouldn't be doing any of this without you. I stand on some pretty broad and amazing shoulders
Hey there, saw the news on Twitter. Congratulations! I love, love, LOVE that museum (in awe of that war, in general) and, were I employed in interactive media, would be so jealous of you.
Just wanted to let you know that the thing I've found most informative and touching about the museum is the interviews with our WW2 veterans, whom we've all but lost. Those video and audio interviews are so precious, and I wish there were more areas in the building to view and interact with those pieces of media than just in the "viewing and listening areas," where few wander. It would mean and teach so much.
I'll have to come back to visit and see your handiwork! Congrats again!
