Kompakt, the Cologne based label/store/combine/ad-hocracy of minimal godfather Wolfgang Voigt & Co., have just launched an online MP3 store. The amount of music on here is staggering. Much like the Warp Records site Bleep, they offer more than their own material. There's all kinds of German techno here and almost everything I've listened to so far is Great.
I like seeing small labels like Kompakt and Warp launching things like this. It empowers them to distribute globally with little to no overhead and gives music lovers like myself the opportunity to enjoy their quality wares without travelling to more advanced urban areas in order to dig for them. Another example of how the web makes my life better.
