The National Geographic Society has launched The Genographic Project, a project to codify and trace the genetic lineage and nomadic traceroutes of the global populace. For $100 you can order the Genographic Project Public Participation Kit which allows you to take a cheek swab and send it to the lab for analysis. Once your DNA has been analyzed and codified you will receive a multimedia report introducing you to your haplogroup which will describe where and when your ancestors emerged and how they got to their ultimate destination(s), your ancestral homeland. Fascinating stuff, I’m ordering mine today.
Me too
