After chasing down countless attacks by Basso, Vino, and the Tmob boys Lance Armstrong looks to be the winner of the Tour de France for the 7th time. The race passed over the final major climb in the pyranees today and barring any major mechanical failures, a bad wreck, or an injury Armstrong will be the champion again. He's an amazing rider and has proven his greatness again this year. He hasn't even won a stage yet and still no one could even touch him. Bravo Lance!
I am waiting for the Fat Lady to make a bold statement like that

Armstrong's - and Discovery's - motto will be one of 'caution rules the day'. "Just being careful, staying away from crashes, problems, being careful with the diet and food, no illnesses and silly things coming along. We still have almost a week left, and it is not over until it's over," Armstrong said.

Bad things never happen to him and it would take some seriously bad shit to knock him out of the top spot at this point. The only scenario I can think of is a really bad spill in the final TT on Saturday but I know his form will be spot on. It's the last major stage of his career and he will want to win it.
