These Dutch amphibious houses are magnificent. This is the kind of visionary architecture we should be embracing in New Orleans. We need innovative design solutions in order to survive future storms. The thing I respect most about the Dutch is that they have fully embraced design as a matter of survival. New Orleans must do likewise.

jonah, it felt great to see you and shanna the other night. i am really looking forward to all of us living in the city again. We are definetly coming back for a week at halloween and i will probably stay an extra week and work in the quarter. can't wait to see you two.....rose-doll

Yes! I am so excited about Halloween. If you want Shanna and I to camp out with you during the extra week we can. It would be nice not to have to commute every day and Shanna can help you work on the house during the day. See you soon.
